Electronic Technician – Manufacturing & Product Assembly

Location: Farmingdale, New York (On-Site Only)

We are seeking a motivated Electronic Technician to join our manufacturing team at our Farmingdale, New York facility. This is a hands-on position involving the assembly, calibration, testing, troubleshooting, and repair of sophisticated biomedical electronic instruments.

Job Responsibilities:

• Assemble and calibrate biomedical electronic instruments.
• Read and interpret electronic schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Troubleshoot analog and digital electronic circuits to the component level.
• Perform product testing, quality control, and final inspection.
• Use electronic test equipment, including oscilloscopes, digital multimeters, function generators, and power supplies.
• Assist Engineering with prototype assembly, testing, and product improvements.
• Maintain accurate production and calibration records.

Qualifications:

• Strong knowledge of analog and digital electronic circuits.
• Ability to read electronic schematics and technical documentation.
• Experience troubleshooting electronic equipment.
• Proficiency in using standard electronic test and measurement instruments.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Associate degree in Electronics Technology or equivalent experience preferred.
• Previous manufacturing or biomedical equipment experience is a plus but not required.

Location Requirement

This position is on-site at our Farmingdale, New York manufacturing facility. Because the work involves hands-on assembly, calibration, and testing of electronic instruments, we are seeking applicants who currently reside in or near the Long Island/New York metropolitan area. This position is not available for remote work or relocation.
